Everton midfielder Alex Iwobi is set to join Fulham after the two clubs agreed on a deal worth up to £22 million.
He represented England up to the under-18 level. He made his senior international debut for Nigeria in October 2015 and was part of their squads at the FIFA World Cup in 2018 and the Africa Cup of Nations in 2019 and 2021, finishing third at the 2019 tournament.
The Nigerian midfielder, 27, will now go to London for a physical in order to complete the transfer before the deadline of 23:00 BST.
Iwobi has appeared in two of Everton’s three Premier League games this season, but the Toffees have yet to earn a point.
He was ruled out of Saturday’s home loss to the Wolves due to an injury.
He joined the club in the summer of 2019 from Arsenal and has made 123 league appearances, scoring six times.
