Mrs. Grace Maraya, the abducted wife of the dead pastor of Second Evangelical Church Winning All, ECWA, Damakasuwa, in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, has been released two days after her husband’s killers kidnapped her.

On Monday, Mr. Ishaku Chinge, an elder in the church, verified her release from  kidnappers.

He stated that a ransom of N350,000 was paid to the kidnappers on Sunday night to guarantee her release.

According to him, the kidnappers had originally sought N3 million, but following negotiations, they agreed to accept N350,000 before releasing her.

Chronicle NG reports that gunmen stormed the clergy’s house in Damakasuwa in the wee hours of last Friday, killing Rev. Amako Maraya, who was the church pastor, and abducting his wife, Grace.

“Mrs. Grace was released to us on Sunday night; she is presently taking medication in one of the hospitals,” Chinge disclosed.
