    Nigeria police begin 2023 recruitment

    The Police Service Commission (PSC), in conjunction with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), has invited applications from interested and qualified Nigerians for enlistment into the force as constables.

    This was announced in a bulletin posted on the Nigeria Police Force social media pages on Friday.

    “Do you wish to work as a general duty officer of the Nigeria Police Force, or would you rather bring to bear your special skills as an artisan (specialist) to enforce laws and combat crimes? The time is now!”

    The online application portal will be open for a period of six weeks, from October 15th to November 26th, 2023.

    Prospective applicants are required to complete the online application forms and submit them within the specified period via the portal opened to both males and females.

    Some of the online application requirements state that applicants shall be of Nigerian origin by birth, possess the National Identification Number (NIN), and possess a minimum of five credits in not more than two sittings, one WAEC/NECO or its equivalent with credit in English and mathematics.

    The age of the applicants must be between 18 and 25 years; they must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit; and they must not be less than 1.67m tall for males and 1.64m tall for females.

    Also, female applicants must not be pregnant at the time of entry; applicants must have a valid email address and phone number; and SSCE statements of results or certificates relating to examinations taken before 2015 will not be accepted.

    Also, it was stated that the invitation to applicants will be only for those that meet the online registration requirements for the automated physical screening exercise, which will be conducted nationwide, on a date to be communicated later.
