It was not all bliss for Paris Saint-Germain despite defeating Olympique de Marseille 4-0 at the Parc des Princes on Sunday as Kylian Mbappe limped off the pitch with a possible ankle injury in the first half.

Despite Mbappé’s absence for the majority of the game, the capital club secured three points.

Kolo Muani and Ramos, with a brace, added to Achraf Hakimi’s early goal to lift PSG to third in the league table with 11 points from six games, two behind surprise leaders Stade Brestois.

Following the victory, manager Luis Enrique spoke about Mbappé’s injury. Ahead of their UEFA Champions League match against Newcastle United at St. James’ Park on Oct. 4.

“It’s not a very serious problem, but it was painful,” Erinque told reporters. “It would have been smarter to leave the field to protect yourself. But I don’t think it matters. It was a blow, and everything is fine in the end.”
