West Ham United and Manchester United have agreed terms on the signing of defender Harry Maguire.
The clubs reached an agreement worth £30 million, and personal terms between the Englishman and the Hammers are not thought to be a problem.
West Ham are bullish about their chances of completing the signing of the England international, though final elements must be worked out before the transfer can be finalized.
It would mark an end to his four-year stay at Old Trafford, where he joined for a club record £80 million from Leicester City in 2019.
Maguire did not live up to that price tag, as he was withdrawn from the starting XI last season following a string of costly errors before losing the captain’s armband this summer.
