Salah’s agent dismisses Al-Ittihad move

Mohamed Salah’s agent has denied reports that the winger is about to quit Liverpool for Al-Ittihad.
According to Al Riyadh, the Saudi Arabian club is prepared to offer the Egyptian £155 million in salaries over two seasons.
They further reported that Al-Ittihad would make Liverpool a £60 million offer for Salah.
However, his agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, has indicated that the attacker is still committed to Liverpool.
He wrote on Twitter: ‘If we considered leaving LFC this year, we wouldn’t have renewed the contract last summer. Mohamed remains committed to LFC.’
Salah, who has become the highest-paid Liverpool player in history, signed a new three-year contract in June 2022 worth around £350,000 per week.
The 30-year-old Egypt international put pen to paper on the deal that will keep him at Anfield until the summer of 2025.
