Neymar has reportedly informed PSG’s management of his desire to leave the club this summer.
According to L’Equipe, the 31-year-old notified PSG president Nasser al-Khelaifi on Sunday of his intention to leave the French capital.
The Brazil international is reported to be dissatisfied with the club and is desperate to make a stunning return to Barcelona before the transfer window closes.
The development will be another worry for PSG manager Luis Enrique, who has already lost Lionel Messi and is unsure about Kylian Mbappe‘s future at the club.
Mbappe is presently training away from Luis Enrique’s first team squad in an attempt to push a move away from the Parc des Princes, with PSG certain that if he does not leave this summer, he will sign a new deal to avoid going on a free transfer.
Neymar became the world’s most expensive player when he joined PSG in 2017, and he has gone on to win five Ligue 1 titles, scoring over 120 goals in 173 matches with the club.
