Maddison urges Kane to snub Bayern Munich interest

Tottenham new signing, James Maddison is eager to team-up alongside Kane. Maddison is keen for his close friend Harry Kane to turn down a move to Bayern Munich and remain at Tottenham Hotspur under Ange Postecoglou.
Maddison, who moved to north London for £45 million from relegated Leicester City this summer, has a good friendship with the English attacker, and the two are avid golfers outside of football.
However, with German champions Bayern Munich about to break their transfer record with an £85 million bid for Kane, there is a growing sense that his days as Tottenham’s leading striker are numbered.
Despite this, Maddison, speaking at the TNT Sports start of season event in London a week before the new season, is not ready to give up on becoming Tottenham team-mates for the time being.
“We were friends before I joined Tottenham from the England squad; we have similar interests and get on well anyway away from football,” he said.
