Harry Kane will start in Friday’s Bundesliga opener against Werder Bremen. Bayern Munich head coach Thomas Tuchel has revealed.
Kane made his debut in the German Super Cup defeat to Red Bull Leipzig last weekend, coming on as a late substitute just hours after his transfer was completed.
Tuchel, on the other hand, says he intends to give his new striker his complete debut in Bremen on Friday night.
“If nothing extraordinary happens today, then he will start,’ said the former PSG boss.
“My first impressions of Harry are fantastic. He is a top professional, and his quality is outstanding. He is a fantastic human.
“He is very open; he is first on the training pitch, open in the dressing room, and he’s had an immediate impact in the dressing room with his personality, his approach to football, and his love for the game.
“You feel it; you feel it every day. You feel it in every exercise; every little exercise is on point.”
