Guardiola predicts Man City will win fourth consecutive Premier League title

Pep Guardiola has hinted at continuing at Manchester City beyond 2025, completing a decade as manager of the Premier League champions.

In Sunday’s Community Shield encounter against Arsenal, City manager Guardiola will begin his ninth season in English football, trying to help his club become the first to win four successive league titles.

The Spaniard, on the other hand, has disclosed that the summer of celebrations has replenished his batteries, and it is not unthinkable that he would be willing to prolong his contract beyond the conclusion of next season.

“I signed a contract for another two years because I feel comfortable — and nothing has changed whether we won [the Treble] or didn’t win” he said.

In the 2022/23 season, Guardiola and Manchester City won a historic treble, including their first Champions League victory.

On the domestic front, the Citizens won the Premier League title on May 20 after Nottingham Forest upset Arsenal 1-0, and they won the FA Cup on  June 3 after defeating their local rivals at Wembley Stadium.
