Former Nigerian Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has been appointed as a Global Advisor to Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet.
This was announced on Tuesday by the elated elder statesman on his verified Twitter handle.
Osinbajo stated “I am excited to announce that I have been appointed Global Advisor to Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet @EnergyAlliance. Together, we will work to unlock capital flows into the clean energy sector and boost Africa’s share in the global carbon market through.

GEAPP, founded by the Rockefeller and Ikea foundations, as well as the Bezos Earth Fund, is an alliance of entrepreneurs, governments, technology, policy, and financing partners working together to help developing countries transition to a clean energy model that ensures universal energy access while allowing the global community to meet critical climate goals over the next decade.
