Suspended EFCC chairman, Bawa in DSS custody

The suspended Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) chairman, AbdulRasheed Bawa, is in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) following his suspension over weighty allegations of abuse of office.

Peter Afunanya, PRO, made this known in a statement on the official DSS Twitter page.

“The Department of State Services (DSS) has invited Mr. Abdulrasheed Bawa, the suspended Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Bawa arrived a few hours ago.”

“The invitation relates to some investigative activities concerning him”.
