Many are hopeful the reforms by President Tinubu’s government will turn the tide in the New Year

The newly sworn-in President of Nigeria, President Bola Tinubu, has made his first set of appointments as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

In the appointments, he selected Ambassador Kunle Adeleke as the President’s State Chief of Protocol (SCOP).

He also named Dele Alake, a former Lagos State Commissioner of Information, as Presidential Spokesman and Olusegun Dada as Special Adviser, Digital Media.

President Tinubu made these appointments following his inauguration yesterday.

The President, who has hit the ground running, has also made a few decisions, like the removal of fuel subsidies, which have generated mixed reactions among Nigerians.
