Suspended Adamawa INEC REC granted bail, investigation ongoing

The Nigeria Police Force hereby confirms that Barr. Hudu Yunusa-Ari, the suspended Adamawa State Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), who has been in police custody for interrogation in the course of investigations into allegations of impropriety during the state’s supplementary gubernatorial pools, has been granted administrative bail while investigations continue.

According to Chronicle NG, Force PRO CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi issued a statement.

While the inquiry is underway, he is supposed to go to police headquarters every weekday.
