Bruno Saltor will take over from Graham Potter as interim head coach

Chelsea have appointed Bruno Saltor as interim head coach after announcing the departure of Graham Potter who steered the club to 11th in the Premier League.

Saltor is expected to remain in charge until the end of the season, a statement by co-controlling owners indicated.

“Along with our incredible fans, we will all be getting behind Bruno and the team as we focus on the rest of the season,” Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali said.

“We have 10 Premier League games remaining and a Champions League quarter final ahead. We will put every effort and commitment into every one of those games so that we can end the season on a high,” the duo added.

Bruno Saltor, a former Brighton player followed Potter to Chelsea from Brighton and has never managed a club.
