The All Progressives Congress (APC) has urged its members to receive Bola Tinubu, Nigeria’s president-elect when he arrives in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital on Monday.
Tinubu who travelled to France last month is expected in Nigeria today as he prepares for his swearing-in ceremony on May 29.
In a terse message to APC members, James Faleke, the secretary of the disbanded APC Presidential Campaign Council urged members in Abuja and neighbouring Nasarawa state to join the party in receiving Tinubu.
“My dear brothers and sisters of this unique family. I wish to inform and request of us all that anyone in Abuja and Nasarawa is invited to join in receiving our peoples president and first lady-elect tomorrow by 2:00 p.m. at the presidential wing of the international airport.
He added that departure venue was the campaign office, adding that, buses were available and that only those who were accredited will be allowed at the airport.
