On Saturday morning, drivers on the Abeokuta-Sagamu expressway endured a terrifying experience as they were delayed by a roadblock set up by some soldiers.
Due to the ongoing governorship and state assembly elections, it was noted that many drivers of tankers were denied passage.
Our correspondent was informed by one of the soldiers that the road would remain closed until 6 o’clock.
Moses Francis, a tanker driver, claimed that they had been driving since two in the morning.
He expressed regret that the obstacle might prevent them from casting a ballot.
