The Plateau State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Caleb Mutfwang, has been declared the winner of Saturday’s governorship election by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

Mutfwang received the most votes, according to the INEC Presiding Officer, Musa Yusuf, after counting the votes cast by the parties that participated in the election, beating the All Progressives Candidate, Nentawe Yilwatda.

Remember that the PDP governorship candidate was reported to be in the lead as of 11 a.m., when INEC resumed collation of results from the state’s 17 local government areas.
