Atiku Abubakar votes in Yola, frowns at quality of ballot paper
The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar on Saturday voted in Yola, Adamawa as he hopes to be fourth time lucky.
Abubakar who arrived polling unit 012, Ajiya ward, Jimeta in Yola, was given the right of way to cast his vote and he departed afterwards.
The former Nigerian vice-president stated that he is optimistic of emerging as successor to outgoing President Muhammadu Buhari.
Quizzed by journalists on his chances, he simply replied, “I am optimistic of winning,” he said.
Abubakar, however called for an improvement in the quality of ballot papers printed by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
