Chronicle NG has praised health workers across Nigeria for their selfless service towards containing and curbing the coronavirus pandemic since its outbreak.

Health workers including doctors and nurses have been at the frontline of fighting the virus with over 100 infected already.

In appreciation of their efforts, Chronicle NG, wrote a short poem to celebrate health workers to join millions around the world using #CourageisBeautiful.

    Every face mask they wear,

    Leaves them with a scar,

    But what do they care,

Saving lives is all they crave,

Even when their gloves are torn,

They march on with their work,

For acts of courage like this,

The world stays safe on health workers wings.
