Benfica accept £105m from Chelsea for Enzo Fernandez

Chelsea have reached an agreement with Benfica to sign Argentina international Enzo Fernandez for a record 120m euros (£105.6m).
The British transfer record signing is subject to completion of paperwork before midnight according to multiple sources close to the deal.
He is undergoing medical in Lisbon and is expected to be unveiled as a Chelsea player in the coming hours.
Fernandez was named young player of the tournament during Argentina’s World Cup triumph in Qatar.
The signing of Fernandez would eclipse the £100m Manchester City paid to Aston Villa for Jack Grealish in 2021.
The Argentine joined Benfica from River Plate in August, for a reported £10m, and has scored four goals in 29 appearances for the Primeira Liga side.
Chelsea have signed Noni Madueke, Mykhailo Mudryk, David Datro Fofana, Andrey Santos, Benoit Badiashile and Malo Gusto on permanent deals in January and brought in Joao Felix on loan from Atletico Madrid.
