    Manchester City are interested in signing Manchester United and France midfielder Paul Pogba, 29, on a free transfer. (Mail)

    Pogba would like to work with manager Pep Guardiola and City are willing to offer the World Cup winner a four-year deal. (Guardian)

    The French midfielder has also been linked to former club, Juventus and French champions PSG but Pogba will like to remain in the Premier League.

    Brighton manager Graham Potter is favourite to replace Antonio Conte at Tottenham. Brighton would want £10m compensation from Spurs should Conte leave at the end of the season. (Telegraph)

    Conte has warned Spurs they will need to spend big in the summer or risk needing a “miracle” to catch other teams. (Evening Standard)

    Incoming Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag wants Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo to stay at the club. The 37-year-old has one year left on his contract at Old Trafford. (Telegraph)

    Manchester United are also interested in Reims’ 19-year-old French striker Hugo Ekitike. (Mail)
