Bandits kill six in fresh Kaduna attacks

At least six people have died following a coordinated attack by bandits in four communities in Kaduna state.
The attack which was confirmed by security operatives in the state, was carried out by gunmen who raided four communities in Kauru local government area on Monday morning.
The affected communities include; Kigom, Kikoba, Kishisho and Ungwa Magaji villages.
The assailants also razed eight houses, farms and many other valuable properties.
According to the state Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, the military and other security agencies are collaborating with the governments of Kaduna and Plateau States, towards reducing the spate of violence in Kauru local government of Kaduna State and Bassa LGA of Plateau State.
Governor Nasir El-Rufai has condemned the attack, describing it as an action of depraved entities stripped of every shred of humanity.
The Governor while praying for the repose of the souls of the victims, also tasked security agencies working in the area to sustain thorough investigations into the incident.
