Igboho remains in jail as court adjourns extradition hearing
Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Igboho has been returned to police custody in Cotonou.
The latest development comes after Igboho appeared before Court D’Appeal in Cotonou to determine his fate.
The Nigerian government has used everything within its power to finalise the Igboho’s extradition.
After several hours, the Beninese court adjourned the hearing on Igboho’s extradition to Friday, July 23, 2021.
Sunday Igboho was arrested alongside his wife at an airport in Cotonou while trying to flee with his wife who is a German citizen.
Hopefully, the outcome of the extradition hearing will be revealed tomorrow, Friday, July 23, 2021.
