Governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-Rufai has declared the president of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Ayuba Wabba wanted following protests that led to the shutting down of schools and businesses.
The national union is protesting the sack of some civil servants as well as the non-payment of salaries of the others.
Reacting to the union’s strike on Tuesday, El-Rufai declared Wabba and others that led the protest wanted.

In a series of tweet on his official Twitter account, he wrote, “Ayuba Wabba and others of NLC declared wanted for economic sabotage and attacks on public infrastructure under Miscellaneous Offences Act.
“Anyone that knows where he is hiding should send a message to Kaduna Ministry of Justice. There will be a handsome reward,” he tweeted.
This was followed by another Kaduna update, “Chidi Odinkalu – chartered and certified fake news merchant, false professor is wanted for incitement, injurious falsehood, etc by Kaduna High Court.
He added that, Odinkalu is lying again that all schools; most filling stations and public hospitals are still operating in the state despite Odinkalu’s claim. “You are cursed!” El-Rufai said.
