Israel Adesanya first career loss

The most-anticipated fight between Jan Blachowicz and Israel Adesanya just went down at UFC 259 in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Jan Blachowicz took away the zero from Adesnya’s perfect undefeated record and proved once in for all why he is the light-heavyweight champion of UFC.

Israel Mobolaji Temitayo Odunayo Oluwafemi Owolabi Adesanya is a Nigerian-born New Zealand-based professional mixed martial artist, and former kickboxer and boxer.

He is the UFC Middleweight Champion and had a record of 20-1 until today. In kickboxing, he is a former Glory Middleweight Championship title challenger. As of 29 September 2020, he was #3 in the UFC men’s pound-for-pound rankings.

Adesanya is widely regarded as one of the best strikers in the world of mixed martial arts.

Adesanya was born in Lagos, Nigeria, the eldest of five children. His father, Oluwafemi, is an accountant and his mother, Taiwo, is a nurse. He speaks Yoruba, Nigerian pidgin and English.
