The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced 137 confirmed new coronavirus cases in the country on Tuesday.
The 137 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 63,173.
The NCDC also announced the discharge of 137 patients from isolation centers across the country with four new deaths reported.
Lagos state, the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria reported 60 new confirmed cases taking the total number of confirmed cases in Lagos alone to 21,398.
Abia State recorded 21 new cases, Federal Capital Territory reported 18 new cases while Rivers state announced 13 new cases.
Other states are Kaduna-5, Oyo-4, Edo-3, Delta-2, Imo-2, Kano-2, Ogun-2, Bauchi-1, Gombe-1, Nasarawa-1, Niger-1 and Osun-1.
NCDC reports that there are 63,173 cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria with 59,634 discharged and 1,151 deaths.
