    The Nigeria Youth Organisation (NYO) has hailed President Muhammadu Buhari for approving the National Youth Investment Fund (NYIF).

    The NYIF, NYO National Secretary Comrade Duke Alamboye said it was first of its kind.

    He spoke during the meeting of the national, zonal and state executive members hosted by the Lagos State chapter of the organisation at the weekend.

    NYO Board of Trustee (BoT) Chairman Dr Rotimi Ogunlana spoke about the fundamental issues, aims and objectives of the NYO.

    He said the values of the organisation should be adhered to.

    Ogunlana advised the youth to be active in the political cycle, noting that political sustenance and values are vested in youths.

    National President Abdullahi Wali called on zonal and state executive members, who were reappointed, to be proactive and get involved in the process of democracy and good governance.
