President Muhammadu Buhari is in a closed-door meeting with Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai, at the State House, Abuja.

Though the agenda for the meeting is unknown at the time of filing this report, it is believed to be centered around ongoing military operations in the country, particularly in the north east and north west.

Buhari, in a recent meeting with Service Chiefs and other security heads, had warned he would no longer tolerate escalation of insecurity.

He frowned at lack of synergy among the security heads and told them to work together to bring myriads of security challenges bedeviling the country to a halt.
