The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 328 confirmed new coronavirus cases in the country on Friday.
The 328 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed cases to 11844.
The NCDC also announced the discharge of 161 patients from isolation centers across the country with 10 new deaths reported.
Lagos state, the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria topped the number of confirmed cases with 121 new cases taking the total number of confirmed cases in Lagos alone to 5663.
Federal Capital Territory reported 70 new cases while Bauchi recorded 25 cases and Rivers state reported 18.
Other states are Oyo-16 Kaduna-15 Gombe-14 Edo-13 Ogun-13 Jigawa-8 Enugu-6 Kano-5 Osun-2 and Ondo-2.
NCDC reports that there are 11844 cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria with 3696 discharged and 333 deaths.
