    NCDC announces 35 new coronavirus cases, total 442

    The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 35 confirmed cases of coronavirus taking the new total to 442 across Nigeria.

    The centre for disease control also announced three more coronavirus deaths, taking the total to 13.

    “Thirty-five new cases of COVID-19 have been reported as follows: 19 in Lagos, nine in FCT, five in Kano and two in Oyo.

    “As at 10:20 pm 16th April there are 442 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Nigeria. 152 have been discharged with 13 deaths.

    In a breakdown by the NCDC, Lagos – the epicenter in Nigeria –  had recorded Lagos- 251 cases of coronavirus.

    • NCDC announces 34 coronavirus cases, total 407

    “The Federal Capital Territory had 67 while Kano 21 cases and Osun 20 confirmed cases.

    “Edo state had 15, Oyo had 13 and Ogun recorded nine cases.

    The others are Katsina- 7 Bauchi- 6 Kaduna- 6 Akwa Ibom- 6 Kwara- 4 Delta- 4 Ondo- 3 Enugu- 2 Ekiti- 2 Rivers-2 Niger- 2 Benue- 1 and Anambra- 1.
