The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced five new cases of coronavirus in Nigeria taking the total confirmed cases to 51.
The disease control centre said the five cases were confirmed late Wednesday.
“Five new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Nigeria,” NCDC said on its official Twitter page.
“Two in FCT, two in Lagos and one in Rivers state. Three are returning travellers into Nigeria and 2 are close contacts of a confirmed case.
“As at 11:25 pm 25th March, there are 51 confirmed cases two discharged and one death,” the centre said.
Currently; Lagos- 32 FCT- 10 Ogun- 3 Ekiti- 1 Oyo- 1 Edo- 1 Bauchi-1 Osun-1 Rivers-1 Total: 51 confirmed cases.
