The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced eight new cases of coronavirus in Nigeria with the first case in the middle belt region of the country.
The disease control centre said with the new cases, Nigeria has now recorded a total of 89 confirmed cases of coronavirus.
“Eight new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Nigeria, seven in Lagos and one in Benue state.
“As at 04:00 pm 28th March there are 89 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria with one death.
The breakdown of the 89 confirmed cases are as follows: Lagos- 59, FCT- 14, Ogun- 3, Enugu- 2, Ekiti- 1, Oyo- 3, Edo- 2, Bauchi- 2, Osun-1, Rivers-1 and Benue- 1.
