COVID-19: Learn Africa directs staff to work from home

Learn Africa has directed its staff to work from home as the company seeks to protect staff from the spread of coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria.

In a statement issued by the management of the company, it explained that the action was taken because of the growing cases of COVID-19.

“In the light of the increasing cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic and with recent development by the Federal Government to contain the scourge, it has become clear that we need to adopt extra control measures to ensure that our employees remain safe.

“Therefore, in order to reduce the risk of infection among employees, the Management has directed that all employees stay at home until the situation improves.

The company explained that, “Security personnel as well as other categories of staff on essential services are expected to cover their normal duties during this period.

“At Learn Africa, the wellbeing of our staff is crucial to us and we are committed to their safety,” the company said.
