    Lagos Assembly lifts suspension of four lawmakers

    The Lagos State House of Assembly on Thursday lifted the suspension of four lawmakers, Moshood Oshun, Raheem Kazeem, Rotimi Abiru and Wahab Jimoh.

    Speaker of the House, Mudashiru Obasa, made the announcement at the start of plenary activities on the floor of the House today, Thursday, March 26, 2020.

    According to Obasa, the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC) which was presided over by the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and attended by other party leaders such as, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Prince Tajudeen Olusi, Dr. Abayomi Finnih, Prince Rabiu Oluwa, Chief Lanre Rasaq aka KLM, Alhaji Shakiru Seriki and many others were at meeting which held on Tuesday, March 26, 2020.

    • Lagos begins makeshift food market at schools

    The Speaker said at the meeting, it was agreed that the House should reinstate the suspended members back to their seats .

    Recall that the four members were suspended by their colleagues on Monday March 9, 2020.
