BREAKING: Coronavirus cases hits 40 with new cases in Lagos, FCT

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced four new case of coronavirus in Lagos and the Federal Capital Territory on Monday.

The disease control centre said two of the cases are those of returning travellers to the country.

“Four new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Nigeria. Three are in Lagos State and one in FCT,” NCDC said.

“Two of these cases are returning travellers,” it added.

“As at 11:00 pm on the 23rd of March, there are 40 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria. Two have been discharged with one death recorded,” the disease control centre said.

Currently there are 28 cases in Lagos, seven in the Federal Capital Territory, two in Ogun, one in Ekiti, one in Oyo and one in Edo state.
