BREAKING: Atiku’s son tests positive for coronavirus
A son of the former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, has tested positive for coronavirus as the spread across Nigeria continues increase.
Atiku, who was the Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate in the 2019 presidential election disclosed this on his Twitter account urging Nigerians to pray along with the family.
The former Customs officer did not however state where his son could have contracted the virus. He also did not explain if he just arrived Nigeria or if he was a local contact.
“My son has tested positive to coronavirus. NCDC has been duly informed, and he has been moved to Gwagwalada Specialist Teaching Hospital in Abuja for treatment and management.
“I will appreciate it if you have him in your prayers. Stay safe, coronavirus is real,” he said signing off with his initials, AA.
