Kidnappers struck again in Osun State as an Abuja-Osogbo bound bus was attacked along Imesi-Ile Obokun road.

It was gathered that the bus parked at motor park before it was attacked and some passengers were forcefully taken away by the hoodlums.
A relative of one of the kidnapped victims, Tunde Adejumo told Vanguard that the buses were coming from Abuja and were attacked by the hoodlums at Imesi-Ile-Ibokun road in the state.
The victim, Kabirat Adejumo, according to Tunde was communicating home as the bus travelled home bound but suddenly stopped calling which arouse their suspicion.
“When it was about 8:30pm and we did not hear from her, we headed to the Ota-Efun park in Osogbo to inquire about their movement, but we were told four buses have been attacked and occupants kidnapped.

We followed the park officials to the scene of the incident and we learnt that the kidnappers speared old ones, pregnant women and nursing mothers in the vehicles, while others were taken away.
Only members of the community vigilante group were involved in the chase and combing of the surrounding forest in the town.
Although there are few police officers at the scene but the number is not enough to follow the vigilante group into the forest”, he added.
The said there was no trail of the kidnappers or victims as at the time the relatives returned to Osogbo late in the night.
The buses involved, according to findings, were heading to Old- Garage, Ota-Efun and power line parks in Osogbo respectively.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Folashade Odoro said she would address journalists on the issue later in the afternoon. Nigeria News
