    Court grants Senator Adeleke N2m bail

    A Magistrate Court in Mpape, Abuja on Tuesday granted bail to Senator Ademola Adeleke.

    Adeleke who was the Candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the last governorship candidate in Osun State, was accused in the fresh five counts of forging a letter of attestation and result from Muslim Grammar School, Ede Osun State.

    He was arraigned before Magistrate Muhammed Shehu who granted him a N2 million bail

    Adeleke alongside his Counsel, Adetosoye Adebiyi had arrived the court around 9.30a.m.

    He pleaded not guilty when the charges were read to him before being granted bail in the sum of N2m with one surety who must reside within the jurisdiction of the court.

    He is already being prosecuted before a Federal High Court in Abuja on a seven counts of examination malpractices.

    The court had granted him permission to travel to the United States of America on Tuesday (today) before he was arrested yesterday and prosecuted today before the magistrate Court.
