Former interim national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Bisi Akande alongside national leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu visited President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday in Abuja.
The duo met with President Buhari at the State House following his re-election into the office.
Sources say the meeting could have been prompted by the supplementary governorship election scheduled for March 23.
Asiwaju Tinubu, is the co-chairman of APC Presidential Campaign Council.
It would be recalled that President Buhari had stated categorically that he will not interfere in the rerun elections to be held in Kano, Plateau, Adamawa and Sokoto.
His stance has however angered some members of the party who believe that they were used and dumped.
