Disengaged Ogun State Government workers have congratulated APC governor-elect, Prince Dapo Abiodun after a keenly contested governorship election on March 9.

The workers who were sacked by Governor Ibikunle Amosun in 2011 had promised to rally support for Mr. Abiodun and also to deliver their polling units across the state.

In a statement issued on Monday and signed by President of the Disengaged Ogun State 2011 Workers Movement, Samuel Awolesi, the group assured Ogun people of real time development and growth.

The group said it was ready to work for the new Ogun government.

“Congratulations to our amiable governor-elect in Ogun state Prince Dapo Abiodun (MFR) of the All Progressive Congress.

It would be recalled that the workers who have repeatedly protested their sack visited the country home of Mr. Abiodun in Iperu, Ogun state.

The group received by Mrs Bamidele Abiodun, wife of the governor-elect assured of their support and asked that they be reinstated.
