
The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Prince Dapo Abidoun, has won at his polling unit in Iperu, Ikenne in Ogun state.
Results announced at his polling unit shortly after collation showed that the oil magnate had established a healthy lead in his local government area of Ikenne.
At his polling unit in Ward 3 Unit 2, Ita Osanyin, Iperu, Ikenne, Mr. Abiodun polled a total of 240 votes while his closest challenger, Honourable Adekunle Akinlade of the Allied Peoples Movement got 71 votes.

The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Buruji Kashamu only managed five votes.
The results in the State House of Assembly were no different. APC garnered 217 votes while APM polled 72. The PDP managed only eight votes to finish a distant third.
