BREAKING: Osinbajo’s chopper crashes in Kogi
The chopper conveying Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has crash landed in Kabba, Kogi state as he embarked on a campaign rally in the north central state in Nigeria.
According to the spokesperson of the Vice President, the number two is safe, so is the rest of the crew. He however did not disclose the cause of the crash.
“VP Osinbajo’s Chopper crash lands in Kabba, but he and the entire crew safe. He is continuing with his engagements and plans for the day in Kogi State,”Laolu Akande tweeted on Saturday.
“We give all the glory to God, our able protector and commend all the Flight Crew officials for their service.
“We are marching on for indeed we can do all things through Christ that strengthens us,” Akande added.

The Vice President has since continued his Next Level campaign in Kogi.

“The Vice President is now in Kabba after the incident safe and continuing with the business of Next Level,” a close aide told Chronicle NG.
“Nigerians should thank God for keeping the Vice President safe. God will always keep his own,” the source added.
Vice President Osinbajo and President Muhammadu Buhari are seeking re-election on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress in the February 16 presidential elections.
