Atiku, OBJ lose polling units to Buhari

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has lost his polling unit to the incumbent, President Muhammadu Buhari.

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has lost his polling unit to the incumbent, President Muhammadu Buhari.

Mr Abubakar who voted at Ajiwa Ward in Yola, Adamawa on Saturday lost by a very big margin to President Buhari of the All Progressives Congress.

He garnered 140 votes while President Buhari got 475 votes to defeat Mr. Abubakar, his closest rival on his home front.

Mr. Buhari also defeated Mr. Abubakar handsomely at his own polling unit in Daura, Katsina State.

He garnered 244 votes against his closest rivals 003 votes.

President Buhari also scored big votes in the polling unit of former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, who is backing Mr. Abubakar.

President Buhari got 87 votes, 69 votes more than Atiku who got only 18 votes at the polling unit in Abeokuta, Ogun state.
