Globacom has partnered with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) to provide real time connectivity for 139 locations of the corporation.

The connectivity, powered by Globacom’s Intelligent Wide Area Network (iWAN), makes it possible for the NNPC’s various departments to do their businesses real time with utmost efficiency. It also helps them to keep track of their assets and operations across Nigeria.

The corporation held a two-day exhibition at its headquarters to formally unveil the facility and allow its staff to interact with the partners who took part in the implementation of the massive project.

Chief Operating Officer, Corporate Services, NNPC, Isa Inuwa, in a brief remark at the programme and exhibition on Tuesday, commended Globacom for its support, describing the company as a reliable and committed partner in its CS-Connect project, which is the foundation for the full automation of its operations in the nearest future.

Inuwa said that the CS-Connect exhibition was organized to allow partners exhibit their products and services, as well as interact with top management of NNPC.

In his own remarks earlier, the Group Managing Director of NNPC, Dr. Maikanti Baru, urged the corporation’s staff to network with the partners with a view to getting solutions that could lead the corporation to greater efficiency.

Globacom has been a leading light in the area of innovative offerings in the telecommunications field, making it the preferred partner of multinationals who desire world-class communications solutions at competitive prices.

The telecom company has particularly distinguished itself in the area of data service and business solutions, earning the epithet, grandmasters of data, in the process.
