Fayemi will suffer worse defeat ever, says Fayose
Governor Ayodele Fayose has said his predecessor whom he beat at the polls will suffer his worse defeat at the gubernatorial elections in July.
Fayose who took to Twitter to react to Fayemi’s emergence as the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ekiti said APC has given the people a candidate Ekiti people like to vote against.
“I thank the APC for giving Ekiti people a candidate they love to vote against at all times,” he wrote on Twitter.
Adding that, ” Fayemi should not celebrate this pyrrhic victory yet because it is nothing but a flame that will be quenched on July 14.

“He should expect to suffer worse defeat compared to that of 2014.”

Fayemi will challenge Prof Kolapo Olusola of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Ekiti.
Olusola is widely believed to have been handpicked by Fayose as his successor. He currently the deputy governor to Fayose in the state.
Fayose also revealed that Deji Ogunsakin will run as Olusola’s running mate. “Immediate past Chairman of Ado Local Government, Deji Ogunsakin will be the running mate to our Governorship candidate, Prof Kolapo Olusola,” Fayose said.
