Wilder accepts Joshua’s challenge, says he’s British not African
Deontay Wilder has told IBO, WBO, WBA, IBF holder Anthony Joshua that he has accepted the challenge to fight him for the unified title.
Wilder stressed that Joshua is not African, urging him, to take off the African tattoo on his arm because he is British.
In a video posted on Twitter, Wilder insinuated that the fight with Joseph Parker was a robbery. “What a robbery… WOW‼️ @joeboxerparker great job Bro omg don’t apologize you did nothing wrong.
“True champion. @anthonyfjoshua, I ACCEPTED 100%. P.S. Take AFRICA off your Arm. They’re warriors. You from UK brotha,” he wrote.

After the fight with Parker, Joshua had said he was ready to fight Deontay Wilder or Tyson Fury. “IBO, WBO, WBA, IBF. I’m not into the hype, let’s get the business done. Let’s see what the future holds, I’m down for whatever, whenever.”

“Wilder let’s go baby, let’s go!. “I want Wilder. Or Fury. Get him [Wilder] in the ring and I’ll knock him spark out.”
Asked if he would fight in the United States: “I’m not interested in coming to America. All these years, we’ve gone to the States, people have spent a lot of money following British boxers over there. [But] we can do it in London, Cardiff. We are staying right here.
