David Oyelowo stars in new flick Gringo and speaks Yoruba to Nigerian fans delight

David Oyelowo has starred in some big roles particularly in the remake of Martin Luther King Jr but even that will not excite his Nigerian fans like this new flick, Gringo.

Oyelowo (Harold Soyinka) is an average businessman who works for a company that has developed the “Weed Pill”, a medical marijuana that has been simplified into a pill.

Harold’s bosses, Elaine Markinson and Richard Rusk, send him to Mexico to handle the manufacturing of the product, but while out partying he ends up getting kidnapped by the cartel, which holds a grudge against Harold’s bosses and their company.

Richard hires a professional named Mitch to safely get Harold out of harm’s way, only for the two to end up having to survive one outrageous situation after another.

Gringo is an upcoming American action comedy film directed by Nash Edgerton and written by Anthony Tambakis and Matthew Stone.

The film stars David Oyelowo, Charlize Theron, Joel Edgerton, Amanda Seyfried, Thandie Newton, and Sharlto Copley.
