Watford accept Changchun Yatai £20m bid for Odion Ighalo
Watford striker Odion Ighalo looks like he is on his way to China in a £20million move.
Changchun Yatai have a bid accepted by the Hornets for the Nigerian hitman, according to reports.
Earlier this month a possible move to West Brom fell through after the Baggies failed to agree on a fee for the 27-year-old.
Three other Premier League clubs were also said to be after Ighalo, who was left out of the FA Cup loss at Millwall.
Explained manager Walter Mazzarri: “I wanted only players who could concentrate on the game.”
Ighalo has scored 40 goals in 100 outings for the Hornets and provided ten assists.
The goals have dried up this season, though.
Ighalo has only scored one Premier League goal in comparison to last year when he bagged an impressive 17.
He was also linked with Hebei Fortune before Changchun Yatai made their offer.
Confirmed Mazzarri said: “With Odion Ighalo we know there are some offers.
“Ighalo was always a very important player for this team, but there are times where a player can end its time with one club and make a decision on their career.
“These are decisions that are from the club, and from the players, and there is not much we can do about it.” TheSun reports
