Ex-security officers meet El-Rufai over Southern Kaduna killings

Worried about the frequent attacks and killings in Southern Kaduna, retired military, police and other security officers from the area have visited Governor Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai to discuss the situation in the area.

The team which visited the Governor included Generals Martin Luther Agwai, Adamu Dyeris, and Colonel Boman Kachim among others.

The leader of the delegation, Colonel Boman Kachim retired, who briefed Governor Nasir El-Rufai on their position about the crises, promised to corporate with the state government and contribute their quota towards sustainable peace in the area.

Also at the meeting were security agencies comprising the Police, Army, the DSS and other security agencies, who equally presented the situation report to the retired Security officers.

However, they promised to continue the ongoing efforts to stem the attacks in the zone.

In his response, Governor Nasir El-Rufai, assured the retired officers of government resolve and commitment to maintain peace in the area.

The Governor intimated the southern Kaduna retired Security officers of efforts of government so far in bringing about peace and promised that they would not relent until peace returned to the area.
